Eye Bank Foundation forges partnership with the Rizal Provincial Government
RIZAL PROVINCIAL CAPITOL — Following the policy thrust of Eye Bank in reaching out to all possible partners, the Eye Bank paid a courtesy visit to Rizal Provincial Governor Rebecca ‘Nini’ Ynares, yesterday, August 05, 2019.
Heading the Eye Bank’s delegation, Dr. Bernardita Navarro explained what the Eye Bank is and how it operates nationwide.
Dr. Navarro also gave light to the situation of corneal blindness in the country and how the Provincial Government can help in addressing this problem.
Governor Ynares has manifested her support in the advocacy of Eye Bank and thus, endorsed the Eye Bank to the Rizal Provincial Health Office headed by Dr. Victoria and Dr. Daquigan.
The Provincial Health Officer expressed their willingness to be part of the Eye Bank’s current initiative in strengthening the Hospital Retrieval Program and volunteer donation in the Province.
